1 tbsp grated lime zest
2 cups non-dairy whipped topping
1 1/2 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tsp sugar
2 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
2 cups angel food cake, cut into cubes
Fold lime zest into non-dairy whipped topping, and set aside.
Add lime juice, sugar, and strawberries to a medium bowl. Toss to combine.
Add an even layer of angel food cake cubes to 8 dessert glasses. Add a second layer that is half strawberry mixture, half whipped topping mixture. Repeat each layer.
Top each trifle with 1 tbsp of strawberry mixture.
