Ingredients

4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped or sliced

2 tbsp butter

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/3 cup sugar

3 tbsp + 2 tbsp water, divided

1 tbsp + 2 tsp cornstarch

1 pint So Delicious® dairy-free vanilla frozen dessert
Instructions

Peel, core, and chop or slice the apples.

In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in the apples, sugar, and 3 tablespoons of water.

Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 6 minutes or until the apples are very slightly softened.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water.

While stirring the apple mixture, drizzle in the combined cornstarch and water and continue to cook until apples are soft and mixture is thickened. Let bubble for 1 minute, then cool completely.

Serve over scoops of So Delicious® dairy-free vanilla frozen dessert. Topping can be stored in an airtight container for 2 weeks in the fridge or for 1 month in the freezer.
